mount unifr user home at distance on your mac os x

1. get connected to uni network, i.e. branch your laptop in the intranet or via vpn
2. open the finder, press [cmd]-k to connect to a server
3. enter the following address:
   smb://<USERNAME>@home.unifr.ch/<username> (note that USERNAME must be in uppercase)
   as an example my address is smb://VOGELDA@home.unifr.ch/vogelda
   
4. press the button 'connect'
5. in the dialog which appears you have to specify the following:
   domain : unifr
   username : (USERNAME, already given)
   password : (you unifr login / mail password)
6. hit enter, and your unifr home folder will be mounted in the finder!
