why i love ikea

Because Ikea is to the home market what Apple is to the computer market.
Okay, don't stone me to death now for comparing Apple to anyone, let me first explain! I know this comparison somehow doesn't work, since Ikea is quite a discounter, Apple has only a 3%-4% market share in a M!cro$oft dominated world, etcetera.
But they got one thing in common: they really love, what they do, and they care about every aspect of their product. From the production to the shipping to the shopping mall presentation to the unpacking and final mounting. It is just well engineered at every stage of the product life-cycle.
I hate it, when I buy stuff from other household manufacturers. Its just not perfect. A thing I find very annoying is price tags and other things sticked or glued on the product. In the least cases it gets off without any trace – with Ikea, there was never a problem.
At Apple or Ikea, you don't just buy stuff. You experience it.
